Tagesanzeiger talks about Momentum and the role of the First Responders
A dedicated article of the Tagesanzeiger about the effort of the First Responders and the Momentum App for the management of emergencies.
Monday, December 10, the Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger has dedicated a further article to the role played by First Responders during the first aid: to do so, he decided to tell the story of Stefan Gasser, a first responder, member of the fire department of a small town in the Canton of St. Gallen.
In Canton Ticino, where the survival rate is over 50% (the European average is around 10%), there are over 3,700 first responders, more than 1% of the population.
Despite the fact that the cardiac arrest is not limited to the Canton of Ticino, a national strategy is not applied today. In the cantons of Ticino, Bern, Friborg, Vaud, Valais, Soletta and Basel-City, on the other hand, the strategy is very clear: use the Momentum app to save lives!
How many lives could be saved by adopting the Canton Ticino strategy at national level?
