The eighth edition of the “Cavalieri del Cuore” Award, “Knights of the Heart“, an event organized by Fondazione Ticino Cuore at the Lugano Congress Hall, paid tribute to all the First Responders who intervened last year in a sudden cardiac arrest situation.
During the event, it was announced by DOS Group – the Swiss-based company that owns Momentum – that the App for Windows Phone has been completed and that is now available to be downloaded by all First Responders.

This new app will increase the efficiency of the rescue efforts in the Ticino region and it will allow more and more lives to be saved.

“Also allowing volunteers with Windows Phone smartphones to receive alarms makes it easier and quicker to start resuscitation procedures on patients, while professional rescue workers are on their way,”

says the director of the Ticino Cuore Foundation, Claudio Benvenuti.

The app is already available for iOS and Android devices and the results are already measurable: the survival rate in case of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in Ticino keep increasing over time.

“Momentum was born because we needed to tackle a specific need: we wanted to optimize rescue efforts and save more and more lives every year. This is why we – together with Ticino Cuore – started working on Momentum, the App that saves lives,”

says Stefano Doninelli, DOS Group CEO and Founder.
